This book of poetry focusing on holy week is one of my go-to books of religious poetry.

In one of her poems, simply entitled “Lent,” she writes: “Lent is a time to allow a fresh new taste of God!” In pencil in my edition I have written, “What is God tasting like to you this lent?”
