How to Lead: Leading in a Liminal Season

This is fantastic book that describes my leadership style, thinking, and orientation in this season in the life of the church.  I’m so thankful for this work by Susan Beaumont.  The title of the book is “How to Lead” and the subtitle is “When You Don’t Know Where You’re Going.”  To say we don’t know where we are going is both a description of direction and an apt description of just where we are in this extended moment in time as the Church.  Her position is that we are in a liminal season and leadership in such a season requires a comfort with disorientation and a lively hope.
